Guns & Rain to debut at the FNB Joburg Art Fair

Building on a year of huge momentum, Guns & Rain makes its debut at the FNB Joburg Art Fair  September 6th – 9th. They are incredibly excited to present new work by Bev Butkow (South Africa), Nelly Guambe (Mozambique) and Asanda Kupa (South Africa). Find Guns & Rain at booth C11

The FNB JoburgArtFair is Africa’s leading art fair focused on contemporary art from the continent and diaspora. Now in its eleventh year, it continues to strengthen this position by presenting the finest of contemporary African art alongside memorable exhibitions and groundbreaking initiatives. As the first international art fair on the continent, the FNB JoburgArtFair plays a pivotal role in supporting the contemporary arts landscape in Africa. The Fair provides a space for leading artists, galleries, collectors, writers, thinkers and art lovers to congregate. The Fair is held at the Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg, South Africa. ARTful presents Marius Dansou’s sculptures at 1 Curzon Street

ARTful are delighted to be working with the Gallery of African Art for the first time. Located  at 1 Curzon Street, the Gallery of African Art promotes artists from all over the African continent. ARTful are showcasing two sculptures by artist Marius Dansou on display in the main entrance lobby.

Marius Dansou was born in 1984 in Cotonou, Benin where he still works and lives today. Dansou started his sculptural career using wood before progressing onto metal.
