ODETTA Gallery presents Fever Songs

Thursday, May 3rd, 2018

ODETTA Gallery is pleased to present Fever Songs. Ecstatic song, meditation, blending, Fever Songs is an evocation for peace and harmony. Artists Meg Hitchcock and John Morton seek order in chaos, creating unity through shared expressions of faith freed from the constraints of organized religion.

Running concurrently with Fever Songs is Creative Tech Week. Artists that have been selected explore concepts in their art through digital media, gesture tracking, animations, open source coding, and graphics. Creative Tech Week is a city-wide symposium exhibiting the intersections of cutting edge technology and the arts. ODETTA has curated nine artists into their Studio area and Flat Files for this year’s Creative Tech Week theme, and to tie in with Fever Songs.

Creative Tech Week artists will transform the Flat File and Studio areas in back of ODETTA. Artists Jeff Becker, Ellen Hackl Fagan, Joshie Fishbein, Patrick Gallagher, Greg Garvey, Matti Havens, Chris Klapper, and Gregory Kramer will install video projections, LED installations, digital prints, and touch sensitive screens.

Special Events at the gallery include:

May 12, 4 pm

Artist’s Talk: Meet our CTW artists
