Anderson Contemporary presents Hooligans

Friday, September 1st, 2017

Anderson Contemporary is pleased to share Hooligans, a group exhibition curated by Dominique Ramirez and Michael Barkagan.

“Hooligans” comprises the artwork of three native New Yorkers: Ian Sullivan, Josh Fayer, and Victoria De Lesseps. The group exhibition explores the impact both physical and social environments leave on the human psyche. Flooded with mischief, Ian Sullivan’s cityscape murals and portraits contrast his colorful personas against the dark realities of city life. Working with resin on canvas, Josh Fayer manifests the connection between consciousness and space with his abstract interpretations of nature. Victoria De Lessep’s  mixed media paintings address gender roles and the hypocrisy of society.

Exhibit on-going and closes September 8th, 2017.
