Tuesday, September 26th, 2017

UNFOLD – Art in the City of Tomorrow located at 37 Church Street, NW8 8EH (3rd to 8th October) is the result of a collaboration that the curators describe as follows:

“We will transform Church Street in Central London into a joyous and immersive experience celebrating emerging artists.

Join us on this journey through a working artist’s studio and two innovative exhibition spaces with talks and workshops”

UNFOLD – is divided into three main spaces.

In total over fifty works will be shown across all three spaces, from 17 carefully selected artists.

UNFOLD: The Gallery Space – This space is dedicated to some of the most exciting emerging artists working today. You’ll leave excited, refreshed and in love with art all over again!

UNFOLD: The Project Space – We want to engage your brain as well as your eyes. This space will be bursting with relevant conversations, panels and debates. As a major plus, you can also hang out there, read the most up-to-date art magazines and be inspired by the great art on the walls.

UNFOLD: The Studio Space – All week, drop by to see our UNFOLD artists creating work, and feel free to chat to them about their artistic practice, or indeed anything you like!

The organisers of UNFOLD are also kindly hosting on October 6th – Click here for more info.

LiezelAWAD, the Association of Women Art Dealers, is pleased to announce a new Member of our London Chapter, Liezel Strauss.

Liezel Strauss fell in love with photographic art while living in Germany, and over the years the passion grew into a dream of making art buying easy and accessible. In 2010 she moved to Japan and in 2011 Subject Matter was born with its first gallery in Tokyo. Subject Matter has since branched out with exhibitions and pop ups in Canada and the UK.
