About Photo London

Photo London was created to give London an international photography event befitting the city’s status as a global cultural capital. Now in its third edition, Photo London has established itself as a world-class photography fair and as a catalyst for London’s dynamic photography community. From the capital’s major museums, to its auction houses, galleries large and small, right into the burgeoning creative communities in the East End and South London, Photo London harnesses the city’s outstanding creative talent and brings together the world’s leading photographers, curators, exhibitors, dealers and the public to celebrate photography, the medium of our time.

Along with the selection of the world’s leading galleries showing at the Fair, Photo London presents the Discovery section for the most exciting emerging galleries and artists; there is an original Public Programme bringing together special exhibitions, installations, a Talks Programme curated by William A. Ewing, renowned curator and writer, former Director of the Musée de l’Elysée, and former Director of Exhibitions at the International Center of Photography, New York. Each edition of the Fair also sees a number of Awards announced, headlined by the Photo London Master of Photography, Photo London Artproof Award and the Magnum Photos Graduate Photographers Award. Hosted awards include the Kraszna-Krausz Book Awards and the MACK First Book Award. Beyond the Fair, Photo London regularly hosts Pre-Fair Talks and related events engaging with the craft, market and knowledge of photography.

Chantal Fabres Latin American Art (CF-LART) and Gazelli Art House are exhibiting at the third edition of Photo London taking place from 17th to 21st May at Somerset House.

About Chantal Fabres Latin American Art

With an unprecedented level of attention to a region that has had a sketchy representation in Europe and the United States, it is a great moment to look at photography from Latin America.

CF-LART’s mission aims to generate a dialogue that transcends the idea of a dominant stereotype of Latin American photography and that of Chile in particular. Chilean photography is generally associated to a select few internationally renown names such as Sergio Larrain, Alfredo Jaar and Paz Errazuriz. However, it stands for a great and rich visual history whose lesser known authors deserve to be recognized.

About Gazelli Art House

Contemporary gallery Gazelli Art House supports a wide range of international artists, presenting a broad and dynamic programme to a diverse audience through global public projects and exhibition spaces in London and Baku.

Gazelli Art House was founded in 2003 in Baku, Azerbaijan where it held exhibitions with Azeri artists. Having hosted conceptually interlinked off-site exhibitions across London, founder and director of Gazelli Art House, Mila Askarova, opened a permanent space on Dover Street, London in March 2012.
