The Cynthia Corbett Gallery presents Young Masters at the Royal Opera Arcade in October

Monday, September 19th, 2016

The Cynthia Corbett Gallery presents Young Masters  Exhibition: Celebrating the Launch of the 4th Edition at the Royal Opera Arcade Gallery,  5B Pall Mall, St. James’s | London, SW1Y 4UY from the 2nd to the 8th of October.

The exhibition to accompany the launch of the fourth edition of Young Masters Art Prize, will include a selection of previous winners and shortlisted artists of the 2009 – 2014 Prize together with guest artists whom in various ways reflect on the history of art through a variety of media including ceramics, painting, photography, multimedia and video. Commanding great skill, each artist takes an aspect of art history, such as genre, technique, subject matter, reinventing it in a contemporary way.

The Young Masters Art Prize is a not-for-profit initiative founded in 2009 by gallerist Cynthia Corbett that gives a platform to both emerging and established artists who show exceptional skill and artistic integrity whilst working in dialogue with the Old Masters and the history of art. Since its launch, the Prize has quickly established itself as a significant international project and has attracted critical and public acclaim. It has also developed a strong international profile through its curatorial touring programme.
