Flaere Gallery are now representing Christopher Boffoli’s series “Big Appetite”

Tuesday, February 21st, 2012

Flaere Gallery are now representing Christopher Boffoli’s series “Big Appetite”. Seattle-based photographer Christopher Boffoli belongs to a select group of artists who play with scale, magnifying and subverting the everyday to create a world for his meticiulously hand-painted miniature figures to inhabit. “There is in some part a god-like feeling to having command of an entire world, which you can rearrange at any capricious whim.”

Helene Schneider and Camilla Zervoglos set up Flaere Gallery in 2009. The gallery specialises in contemporary limited edition fine art photography. Based in London and Paris, the gallery does not operate from a traditional gallery space but exhibits the work of their artists through carefully curated pop-up shows and at art fairs.

Flaere Gallery’s next exhibition takes place 5-10 March when they will present ‘The Bigger Picture – A. A. Gill and Tom Craig’ at 28 Cork Street. Click here for more information.
