Monday, January 23rd, 2012AWAD, the Association of Women Art Dealers, is pleased to announce our latest members, the Hong-Kong based Karin Weber Gallery and her London representative Stephanie Braun as well as Laurie MacLaren from Highgate Contemporary Art.
We welcome the Karin Weber Gallery, who has shown contemporary art since 1999. In addition to Karin Weber, we also welcome Stephanie Braun who joined the Karin Weber Gallery in 2011 as the UK Representative. Believing that art encourages discussion and new experiences, the Gallery constantly strives to bring works with new dimensions to our Hong Kong, UK and international collectors, showcasing both established and emerging artists from Asia and Europe. AWAD welcomes a new member, Kristen Knupp from KPK Contemporary Art
Friday, November 11th, 2011AWAD, the Association of Women Art Dealers, is pleased to announce our latest member, Kristen Knupp who set up KPK Contemporary Art in 2011 to represent international artists, mainly US and European contemporary artists. The gallery is focussed on painters and it currently represents eight artists and is growing. The art styles range from pure abstracts to dream-like landscapes. While many of the paintings are inspired by nature and the environment they represent a new interpretation of these themes.
