Ronni Anderson has been an art dealer in New York City for over six years. Ms. Anderson studied French and Art History at Université Paul Valèry for two years in Montpellier, France and received a B.A. in French and Art History from San Diego State University in 1989. In the same year, she moved to New York City and started her career in the Trusts and Estates department at Sotheby’s. After moving to Miami, she became the office manager for artist Kenny Scharf, then projects manager for Ocean Drive Magazine. Anderson moved back to New York and worked as a volunteer docent at the Metropolitan Museum of Art while raising her two children.
In 2008 she became director of the Keszler Gallery with locations in South Hampton, New York, and NYC. Anderson opened and run Mayson Gallery from 2011 to 2015 representing emerging and mid-career artists. In 2015 Anderson launched Anderson Contemporary which will open in the autumn at 180 Maiden Lane. She has assisted many new clients with the purchase of their first piece of art, and has also helped prominent collectors build their collection.
