DESCRIPTION:Presented by Brookfield Properties in collaboration with Crafts Council UK and Cynthia Corbett Gallery\, Ebony Russell\, recipient of the 2025 Brookfield Properties Craft Award\, is the first international artist to receive this prestigious honour. Her solo exhibition Decorated reimagines Wedgwood’s ceramic legacy\, exploring femininity\, form\, and ornamentation through dazzling sugar-piping techniques. Curated by Samantha Williams\, Director of Arts and Events at Brookfield Properties UK\, the exhibition will be shown across both 99 Bishopsgate\, EC2M 3XD and 30 Fenchurch Street\, EC3M 3BD from 19 May – 26 September 2025. DESCRIPTION:Perry Lawson Fine Art is pleased to present Kahori Kamiya: Sacred Threads\, a solo exhibition featuring paintings and sculpture by Kahori Kamiya\, a Japanese-born artist now based in Rockland County\, NY. Raised in a culture that infuses daily life with spirituality\, she draws from Japanese traditions that honor the natural world\, ancestral rituals\, and the unseen forces that connect all beings. Her multidisciplinary practice—including sculpture\, painting\, video\, and performance—is also deeply influenced by motherhood\, exploring themes of nurture\, devotion\, and the cyclical nature of existence. Sacred Threads run through her work in both concept and form\, linking personal experience with ancestral wisdom and bridging the physical and spiritual realms. \nExhibition open 12-5pm Friday-Sunday and by appointment. DESCRIPTION:Only Your Name exhibition at SLQS Gallery\, London\, 6 June – 12 July (preview 5 June). Marking 50 years since the end of the Vietnam War\, Only Your Name is a group exhibition featuring new and recent work by artists of Vietnamese descent Hoa Dung Clerget\, Vicky Đỗ and Duong Thuy Nguyen. The exhibition follows the journey of Vietnamese people migrating to the UK from 1975 onwards\, preserving history through a Vietnamese lens and reflecting on the contemporary diaspora. Presented by SLQS Gallery in Shoreditch\, the exhibition is situated close to Hackney’s Kingsland Road\, also known as the ‘Pho Mile’\, where many Vietnamese families settled from the late 1970s. Open Thursday – Saturday 12-6pm and by Appointment.
