International Women's Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality. The IWD 2024 campaign theme is Inspire Inclusion
Submissions open for the 7th annual Women in Art Prize. The art award is open to all emerging women artists - painters, photographers & printmakers - that are living and working in the UK, with an award for one overseas artist.
