Dina Rose Friedman

Member Engagement and Programs Manager

Dina is a community builder, educator, storyteller  and a designer of professional development programs. She earned a degree in Art History from SUNY Purchase and an MAT in Museum Education from George Washington University. Dina has over 25 years working as an administrator and education specialist at historic house museums and public parks in and around New York City. She recently went back to her first loves, art and educating tiny humans. The latter she fulfils as an early childhood educator and the former with AWAD.

As Member Engagement & Programs Manager, Dina supports member galleries with networking and professional development opportunities as well as promoting the galleries’ programming through blog posts on the AWAD website. She delights in learning about collaborations between member galleries and other moments of connection. Dina is keen to continue to build a robust and varied program for members to access all that AWAD has to offer to the professional arts community.
