Independent 20th Century's fifth edition will take place 24-27 September 2026. The invitation-only fair, founded in 2022, champions artists and avant-garde movements between 1900 and 2000, and for the first time this year will take place at Sotheby’s at The Breuer in New York City.
A cornerstone of New York’s cultural landscape since 1994, The Armory Show opens New York’s fall art season by bringing the world’s leading international contemporary and modern art galleries to the Javits Center each year. The fair emphasizes thoughtful programming, elevated presentations, curatorial excellence, meaningful institutional partnerships, and engaging public art activations. The 2026 edition of The Armory Show will take place at the Javits Center from September 24–27, 2026.
