From April 21st to April 24th the London Art Fair will present its 34th edition featuring over 100 selected galleries celebrating the best in Modern and Contemporary Art to discover and buy.
From prints and editions, to major works by renowned artists from the 20th century to today; the Fair nurtures collecting at all levels, providing expert insight through an inspiring programme of talks, tours and curated exhibitions.
This year two AWAD member galleries from the London Chapter will be participating in the Fair.
Cynthia Corbett Gallery and Young Masters Art Prize have been invited to do a special curated presentation at London Art Fair 2022. They will be at Stand 5, across the hall from the Fair’s Museum partner, the New Hall Art Collection, a collection of Modern and Contemporary Art by women at Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge – the largest of its kind in Europe, and second largest in the world. To keep the Focus On The Female narrative continuing, they have curated an all-woman showcase unpacking the oeuvre of sixteen women artists: Gallery-represented, YMAP alumnae and artists new to the Gallery.
They are also delighted to be part of Platform, a curated section featuring invited galleries presenting artists whose work aligns to a single distinct theme. This year’s theme is Music, and their curation will highlight the oeuvre of British-Irish ceramicist, professor, curator & textile artist Matt Smith and British-American painter, collagist and photographer Andy Burgess.
Ruup & Form is delighted to be welcomed back to participate in Platform, London Art Fair. For Platform 2022 the theme is music and its part in contemporary visual art. Ruup & Form has collaborated with four incredible artists to create thoughtful works that they can’t wait to share with you. They will present the works of Kuniko Maeda, Naomi Mcintosh, Annette Marie Townsend and Nadia Anne Ricketts.
