AWAD at the Seattle Art Fair

Seattle Art Fair, July 25th – 28th is a one-of-a-kind showcase for the vibrant arts community of the Pacific Northwest, and a leading destination for the best in modern and contemporary art, returns to the Lumen Field Event Center for its eighth edition. Working alongside Beneficiary Partner Seattle Art Museum, Artistic Director Nato Thompson, and the fair’s dedicated Host Committee, the Seattle Art Fair, founded by the late Paul G. Allen, is a celebrated and productive week bringing together the region’s strong collector base, the Pacific Northwest’s top museums and institutions, and an array of innovative public programming. 

Canada based AWAD member Arteria Gallery is pleased to return to the fair with new artworks, artists and series specially selected for this venue. The gallery is pleased to introduce Maryse Ménard and Claude Lépine, artists who recently arrived at Artêria, and therefore their first release outside Quebec with the gallery. In addition, they are showing Ma Ani, Chantal Beauchemin, Alan MacIntyre, Pascale Bouchard (Me with my Encaustic painting (bee wax, Damar resin and pigment)), Marie-Ève ​​Lachance. Seattle based J. Rinehart Gallery will be at BoothC09. Stop by to see an exhibition of Seattle-based artists who have been gaining national recognition, featuring Romson Bustillo and 2024 MacDowell Fellow Emily Gherard. They are particularly excited about new to the gallery artist Julie Alpert as they will be installing some of her large-scale work in the Seattle Art Fair Theater. In addition to these highlights, they will be showcasing work by artists new to the gallery, including Jan Hoy, Kippi Leonard, and Amanda Knowles. With an impressive selection of paintings, photography, sculpture, and contemporary printmaking by a diverse group of artists, they strive to make fine art accessible and attainable at all levels.
