Cynthia Corbett Gallery presents an eclectic showcase of Young Masters Ceramics for seasoned and new collectors alike. Running exclusively online from 5 July to 25 September 2024. This selection has been curated with the collector in mind; whether they are new to ceramics or have their own collection and are looking for a new addition, there is something for everyone. Even better, everything in this selection is under £5000.
In 2014, Young Masters added an innovative, exciting Ceramics Prize to its roster, supported by passionate collectors James and Maylis Grand. The inaugural Prize was awarded to Matt Smith, a British Artist who has gone on to have a stellar, international career as one of the leading ceramic artists in the world today. Alongside Matt, Young Masters has launched the careers of many other artists including Emilie Taylor and Amy Hughes at prestigious art fairs such as the Crafts Council’s renowned fair for decorative arts COLLECT, Expo Chicago and Art Miami.
This summer, the gallery is offering the opportunity to discover museum-quality ceramic art for the discerning collector. From Young Masters Maylis Grand Ceramics Prize 2023 winner Anne Laure Cano’s experimental hand-built sculptures, to Amy Hughes’ expressive, colourful vessels, to Young Masters 2023 Highly Commended ceramicist Ebony Russell’s exuberant Rococo vision, there is something here for every collection. Other notable artists in the showcase include shortlisted and award-winners from the Young Masters Maylis Grand Ceramics Prize 2023 Jemma Gowland, Saeri Seo and Jess Riva Cooper.
