The vibrant Hamptons art fair scene has gone completely on-line! The Hamptons Virtual Art Fair is the new digital iteration for Summer Hamptons 2020. This state-of-the-art Virtual Reality technology-based platform, will be live from Sep. 2-7, 2020. There will be 60+ national and international galleries showcasing post-war and contemporary art. The 3D user experience (UX) will be unmatched – creating the “shock and awe” of exploring the art hung on walls in the online viewing galleries. Visitors will envision and feel the artwork’s aura with the new VR video 3D format. The works will also be able to be viewed in 2D.
AWAD is pleased to share that two member galleries are participating in this 24/7 art fair. Upon a very successful July preview, Cynthia Corbett Gallery is presenting the 3D-show A Girl Can Dream: Summer In The Hamptons with a comprehensive 2D-extension. Arteria Gallery is presenting Overview. Geneviève Lévesque, Director of Arteria Gallery, will offer AWAD’s inaugural virtual art fair tour on September 4th – 11AM ET, 4PM UK and 5PM ECT.
