After the pandemic, we saw a tremendous change in the willingness to find a balance between work and personal life. By experimenting with a new way of life by working remotely, finding a way to manage the stress of the pandemic, people naturally devoted more time to their well-being. The market surfed on this wave. Magazines talk about mindfulness, relaxing time… In fact, it corresponds to a real need for people to be reassured when the time is uncertain. I studied psycho-sociology in organisation and was really interested in the psychology of behaviours and emotions. Part of well-being is working on our body, feelings, and emotions. Recognising our emotions is a way to act on them.
The freedom of the brushstroke in my painting, the tension in space, and the precision of the composition translate a balance and open up the space to let the imagination travel through emotions. This is for me the Essence of Art.”
