Due to the pandemic the majority of traditional Miami and Miami Beach art fairs have been canceled. Happily for art lovers, artists, and collectors many of the fairs are in full swing online. AWAD is pleased to share that three member galleries are participating in the new virtual Miami Art Week.

Guns & Rain Gallery from Johannesburg, South Africa, is exhibiting at UNTITLED, ART Miami Beach this year as one of only two galleries from South Africa. It is their first foray into a North American art fair albeit online. They are exhibiting works from three powerful contemporary artists: Ann Gollifer, Tuli Mekondjo and Ayobola Kekere-ekun. They are also hosting a panel titled “Caribbean Confluences: Artistic Conversations across the Atlantic” with artists Ann Gollifer and Joy Gregory in conversation with Guns & Rain founder Julie Taylor. Arteria Gallery from Bromont, Canada is honoring its mission to provide an experiential platform for discovery and is participating in Scope’s Immersive Miami Beach | Part 2  which is welcoming over 30 exhibitors from around the world featuring  The New Contemporary, a genre that stands as a critical contribution to both global politics and local community engagement.  Here is a link to Arteria’s OVR.

The Cynthia Corbett Gallery from London, England is participating in Art Miami @ Artsy for their 11th year in a row. The gallery is pleased to present a curation of artworks by Gallery artists and Young Masters , entitled Tradition: Revisited. This exclusive selection was created in the spirit of celebrating the art historical canon and the way our featured artists subvert and reflect upon it.
