On February 16th, VanDeb Editions and Oheme Graphics are hosting a private print salon. Each will showcase prints from artists that they’ve worked with over the years. The Salon is taking place at Lispenard Loft, at 39 Lispenard St, in Tribeca. Prints will be on view from 4:00pm – 8:00pm.
Both VanDeb Editions and Oheme Graphics are longtime print publishers and business colleagues. The idea for the Salon was sparked when they realized that the IFPDA Print Fair was moving to the Armory and that the Editions/Artists’ Books Fair (E/AB) was once again on hold. They wanted to find a new way to sell work while motivated collectors were in New York City. Thus their first print salon. There will be over 20 artists represented with a range of styles and price points.
The event is private and therefore RSVP’s are a must. Please reach out to either
Deborah Freedman from VanDeb Editions to rsvp or [email protected] from Oheme Graphics.
Meet the print publishers
What happens when a master printer, Marjorie Van Dyke and an artist, Deborah Freedman, decide to join forces and collaborate with other artists to expand their aesthetic vocabularies and even sell the work produced? VanDeb Editions of course – a women owned and operated printing studio. Their nearly 25 year unique partnership has served and benefited ourselves and the over 53 artists with whom we have worked.
Founded by Susan Hover Oehme in 2010, Oehme Graphics is a fine print publisher, working with internationally recognized artists to collaborate in a state-of-the-art printmaking facility. Contract printing, private artist collaboration, artist residencies, internships, apprenticeships and educational workshops round out the programming at the studio. Located in an 1800 square foot workshop in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the large studio has full etching and woodblock capabilities, including photo/solar-etching processes, steel-facing, and an artist studio
