Ivy Brown at the Watermark is pleased to share Littered Existence by Sam Tufnell. Through his mixed media work, New York City artist Sam Tufnell aims to express his views on contemporary society and issues that affect us all. The work is characterized by its inventiveness that challenges our assumptions and encourages us to think more deeply about the world around us. In many ways, life today can be seen as “littered” with hurdles, from environmental pollution and social inequality to political turmoil and personal struggles.
Perhaps one way to approach this idea is to see life’s “litter” not as an obstacle or burden, but as a source of inspiration and motivation to make a positive difference in the world. By acknowledging and creatively addressing the issues that affect us, we can work together to create a better life for ourselves and for future generations.
