The Sixth Edition of the Young Masters Art Prize call for artists is now open until 11 June 2023
This unique initiative encourages emerging and mid-career contemporary artists to look back to the art of the past for inspiration, whether through technique, concept, theme or medium.
The Prize recognises and showcases artists who show originality, skill and imagination in response to art history. For artists working in ceramics there is a dedicated Young Masters Maylis Grand Ceramics Prize, which runs concurrently with the Young Masters Art Prize and the Emerging Woman Art Prize.
Submissions are welcome from artists from anywhere in the world, including from artists who may already be represented by a gallery.
Submissions can be made by artists working in any media via the CuratorSpace platform until midnight BST on 11 June 2023. Please visit www.young-masters.co.uk/apply for more information.
The Young Masters prize is a not-for-profit international initiative which was launched in 2009 by Cynthia Valianti Corbett, an AWAD Founding Member and the Director & Founder of the Cynthia Corbett Gallery.
