Joy at the Elder Gallery of Contemporary Art

by | Nov 10, 2021 | Blog post

Elder Gallery of Contemporary Art is pleased to present JOY. Joy is an attitude of the heart and spirit, deeply rooted within us as an untapped reservoir of potential. It cannot be exhausted because it is innate. And this innate joy is a radical act – it upends the whole system of how we perceive ourselves in the world in order to start anew. It changes the game. Join the gallery for an exhibition featuring four game-changing artists who embrace and embody joy. JOY unveils how innate joy fuels their individual artwork and collaborative creativity while taking a deep dive into relationships, collaboration, and the transformative power of women coming together. The exhibition’s featured artists are Erin Comerford Miller, Carla Aaron-Lopez (“kingcarla”), Windy O’Connor and Lo’Vonia Parks.

The exhibition is through December 4th, 2021.
