Katia Bulbenko is an interdisciplinary artist working at the intersection of painting and sculpture. Her abstract constructions, related to nature and landscape, are studies in composition and layering as well as a reflection of her inner life, becoming their own realms. Katia’s pieces are influenced by eroded objects, fragments and relics. Her layered assemblages include her painted silk pieces upcycled materials, wood, canvas, paper, felt, and beads.
